Daniel is currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Alabama where he plays ice hockey.  He will go from turning wrenches on the #2 car to piloting a second entry for Grimes Motorsports in 2008.  Daniel will be behind the wheel of the #21x 360 sprint car in a select number of races throughout the summer of 08.  He began driving quarter midgets at the age of 5 and has since driven 600cc mini sprints, as well as asphalt modifieds.

Climbing the ranks, Josh Grimes is geared up for some ASCS action in 2008.  Josh opened his career by earning track and regional titles in the quarter-midget ranks, then earned Mini-Sprint Rookie of the Year honors with SOWRA.  Also earning Rookie of the Year honors in a NASCAR Late Model asphalt series, Josh made three ASCS Rebel Region starts over the last half of 2007. A seventh-place run at River Valley Speedway (Arkadelphia, AL) on June 30 was the best of two top-ten finishes.
